Georgia Sports Medicine and Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery is the leading Sports Medicine practice for youth and High School Sports in Gwinnett County. Our physicians take a comprehensive approach to treating pediatric sports injuries. We utilize superior diagnostic techniques, advanced physical therapy, and when necessary, the latest surgical techniques to help our patients recover from their injuries. Our practice has been dedicated to the treatment of youth sports injuries and fractures. Although teens and children typically receive good care from a primary care or general orthopaedic physician, for sports-related injuries it can be beneficial to seek the care of a Pediatric Sports Medicine specialist. Injuries and conditions of the bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and joints experienced by young athletes can be very different than with adult patients.
Our physicians have completed specialized training for the care of pediatric and adolescent athletes. Dr. Kroll completed his residency in Pediatrics at the University of West Virginia. Dr. Cullen completed his Orthopaedic Surgery training at the University of Cincinnati and his sports medicine fellowship at Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center. He received his Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery training at the prestigious Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
Our physicians are respected by pediatricians, parents and coaches for their excellent care of pediatric patients. Our physicians sensitive to the special needs of children and take the time to relate to them on their level. They are able to effectively communicate with children, enabling the physician to make a more accurate diagnosis and better explain treatment options to both the young athlete and parents.
